About the role

Senior Software Tools Development Engineer focused on AI-driven automation for GPU driver software and SDKs, with strong Linux and PC architecture expertise, on-site in Pune, India.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated tests incorporating AI technologies for NVIDIA's device driver software and SDKs on various Linux operating systems.
  • Build tools/utility/framework in Python or equivalent to automate and optimize testing workflows in the GPU domain; develop and implement automated and manual tests, analyze results, identify and report defects.
  • Rigorously drive test automation initiatives and expand software testing capabilities.
  • Expose defects and constraints; isolate and debug issues; drive to root cause; contribute to solutions and drive closure; measure code coverage and drive enhancements.
  • Develop applications and tools that accelerate development and test workflows; write maintainable, reliable, and well-documented code; validate compatibility across products and interfaces in a broad test matrix.
  • Provide peer code reviews focusing on performance, scalability, and correctness.
  • Estimate and prioritize tasks to create realistic delivery schedules.
  • Work on challenging technical and process issues; report progress with leadership through effective, actionable reports.
  • This is a fully onsite position.

Qualifications

  • B.S / B.Tech / M.S in Computer Science / Electronics & Telecommunication or equivalent experience with strong academics.
  • 4+ years of programming experience in Python or equivalent with object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Hands-on experience developing Python scripts with application development concepts (dictionaries, tuples, RegEx, PIP, etc.).
  • Experience with databases and storage technologies (SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
  • Solid understanding of OS fundamentals and PC hardware tuning (Linux, Unix, Windows).
  • Experience using AI tools to automate test cases and end-to-end QA workflows.
  • Good communication skills (interpersonal and cross-team).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Very organized, proactive, and quick learner.
  • Ability to work with a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment.
