About the role

12-week full-time Deep Learning internship at NVIDIA focused on Deep Learning Applications and Algorithms or Deep Learning Frameworks and Libraries. Open to B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. students in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related fields. On-site in Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Developing algorithms for deep learning, data analytics, or scientific computing to improve GPU implementations
  • Building underlying frameworks and libraries to accelerate Deep Learning on GPUs
  • Contributing to software packages (e.g., JAX, PyTorch, TensorFlow) and integrating CUDA/cuDNN features
  • Optimizing core deep learning algorithms and libraries (e.g., CuDNN, CuBLAS) and maintaining build/test infrastructure
  • Course or internship experiences related to relevant areas (e.g., Neural Networks, Linear Algebra, Numerical Methods, Computer Vision, HPC)

Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in a university pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree for the full duration of the internship
  • Anticipated graduation date clearly indicated on resume/CV
  • Programming skills/experience in C, C++, CUDA, Python, Linux, and related areas (as applicable to role)
  • Knowledge areas may include: computer architecture, GPU programming models, HPC, numerical methods, software development for GPUs
