About the role

Senior Software Engineer role on the Chip System Software team, building and maintaining Linux platform software for NVIDIA AI-RAN/SD-RAN solutions, with integration into enterprise Linux distributions and close collaboration with partners and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain customer-ready Linux distributions, installation images (ISO), and software packages.
  • Integrate NVIDIA software, drivers, and third-party components into Canonical Ubuntu and RHEL platforms.
  • Develop and maintain build automation, CI/CD pipelines, and software release processes.
  • Configure, integrate, and validate Linux kernels and BSPs for commercial SoC platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Linux platform, kernel, driver, and software integration issues.
  • Collaborate with Canonical, Red Hat, silicon vendors, and internal engineering teams to enable new platform capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of experience developing Linux system software or platform software.
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, kernel architecture, and system internals.
  • Experience with Linux package management (Debian/Ubuntu and/or RPM), software integration, and release engineering.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and software build systems.
  • Experience debugging Linux kernel, boot, driver, or platform-related issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
