About the role
Software Engineer role focused on data protection acceleration at Google, with opportunities to influence core infrastructure, collaborate across teams, and apply AI to improve development productivity and reduce toil.
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Accelerate the deployment of capabilities to support regulatory requirements and key customer engagements, including Google Cloud and DeepMind.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate data protection and policy enforcement components into core infrastructure.
- Build foundational building blocks and shared mechanisms that centralize policy enforcement logic across multiple products and systems.
- Enhance development flows by adopting and integrating AI technologies to reduce toil and tech debt, improve productivity, and improve our systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
