Regional Sales Manager, Strategic Accounts
About the role
Regional Sales Manager responsible for full sales strategy and execution in a defined territory, focusing on net new logo acquisition and expansion revenue for Ambient.ai’s new product category in the physical security market.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of an assigned territory focused on net new logo and upsell opportunities
- Demonstrate expertise in building business cases that clearly show value and differentiation at all levels of customer organizations including C-level executives
- Constantly generate pipeline using creative techniques, tools, team collaboration, industry events, and top-tier channel partners
- Close deals through world-class planning and preparation, developing and cultivating relationships with enterprise organizations, and being consultative in solving complex business problems
- Demonstrate expertise in building business cases that clearly show value and differentiation at all levels of customer/prospect organizations
- Benefit from complementary Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Value Consulting, and Transformation Teams throughout sales cycles
- Win deals through world-class planning and preparation, as well as being consultative in solving real business problems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience evangelizing enterprise technology, with a focus on SaaS and disruptive cloud technologies
- Consistent track record of over-achievement; net new logo accomplishments; and keen understanding of leveraging partner relationships
- Significant experience with MEDDIC as a leading indicator driven sales process (highly preferred)
- Demonstrated value-based sales approach and ability to explain complex ROI models to C-level customers
- Willingness to think differently, learn, and embrace new methodologies
- Natural champion builder who adds real value
- Entrepreneurial mindset with business-like approach to territory
- Strong SFDC hygiene and no shortcuts
- Track record of overachievement and meeting sales targets
- Driven and competitive with a strong desire to succeed
