Data Scientist focusing on Growth initiatives, applying statistical inference and experimentation to understand the impact of product changes, drive decision-making, and shape Growth strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Apply expertise in statistical inference and experimentation to understand the impact of product changes and drive decision-making.
  • Explore ambiguous areas and conduct analysis to identify opportunities for the Growth org, helping shape the strategy and roadmap.
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, and marketing leaders at every step of the development process, driving forward data science and analytics work.
  • Determine north star and operational metrics with teams, and build foundational datasets and dashboards to monitor progress and inform decisions.
  • Communicate findings to influence the broader company and drive product and business impact.

Qualifications

  • Comfort with ambiguity and motivated by business results.
  • Expertise in SQL and at least one scripting language (ideally Python or R).
  • Knowledge of statistical inference and experimentation to drive actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to transform raw data to build datasets if needed.
  • Bias for using the right tools to maximize efficiency, balancing speed and accuracy.
