About the role

Frontend-focused software engineer role focused on web and mobile app experiences within Affirm’s Marketplace and App Experience domain. Collaborates across product, design, and analytics to deliver scalable APIs and user-facing features for Home hub and related journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Break down larger projects into tasks and deliver in multiple phases with team
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to ideate, articulate constraints, and trade-offs
  • Create and monitor metrics; support on-call and operations of team artifacts
  • Contribute to team culture and growth, including participation in interview processes

Qualifications

  • 1.5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Experience shipping web apps with declarative UI frameworks (React or Vue)
  • Experience shipping mobile apps with native or cross-platform languages (React Native)
  • Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale (Kotlin or Python)
  • Ability to navigate large codebases, review others' code, and provide feedback
  • Ownership mindset with proactive growth and feedback seeking
  • Strong verbal and written communication for global collaboration
  • Equivalent practical experience or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
