About the role
Systems Development Engineer (SDE) responsible for managing services and systems at scale, focusing on automation, observability, and secure cross-domain solutions within the Google Public Sector.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support for Cross Domain Solution (CDS) systems, including troubleshooting, performance optimization and patch management. Collaborate with security and operations teams to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with technical infrastructure (e.g., deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting).
- 5 years of experience in Linux or Unix.
- 5 years of experience in scripting or automation using Python, Shell or Go.
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.
