About the role

Senior SDE for Amazon Leo team focusing on developer productivity, AI tooling, test and simulation. Role involves designing backend services on AWS, building scalable infrastructure, leveraging Generative AI for productivity tooling, and delivering high-availability systems for satellite deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding of AWS stack - IAM, Lambdas, cloud watch, api gateways,Fine grained access control
  • Understanding of automation, monitoring and operational excellence
  • AWS Permissions and IAM roles, Authorization and authentication
  • Bedrock, Agent core, Prompt engineering
  • Know S3 storage patterns
  • Should have build Large scale infra services
  • Have a strong security mindset
  • A day in the life: operate like a startup, automate from CR - Release with guardrails and AI driven quality gates
  • This team owns builder tools and automates the build-to-release lifecycle using AI

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 8+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • 8+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
