About the role
We are a collaborative network infrastructure group within Global Network Delivery focusing on expanding and optimizing our technological capabilities. The role leads complete lifecycle of network infrastructure projects in data centers, collaborating with network engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to design, validate, and deploy scalable network solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage project lifecycles for network infrastructure initiatives including late binding, recabling, network scaling, and expansion projects from planning through completion
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, fiber optic connectivity, cabling infrastructure, and routing issues across diverse data center environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct resource assessments, coordinate vendor execution, and resolve project roadblocks
- Develop and maintain documentation including cut sheets, labels, change management procedures, and operational guidelines to support project execution and knowledge sharing
- Coordinate hardware deployments and upgrades while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and change management procedures
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, or Technical Project Management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of computer layer 1/2 networking (including troubleshooting and repair) experience
- 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment including VFL, power meter, and OTDR experience
- Fluent in English at C1 level or above
