About the role

Infra Delivery Install Technicians support AWS data centers by moving and installing large enterprise equipment, installing cabling, and ensuring safety and security standards. Role involves hands-on technical work, travel between data center locations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain network infrastructure and uptime.

Responsibilities

  • Moving and implementing large enterprise equipment
  • Installing Fiber and Copper cabling and patching cabling between equipment
  • Ensuring proper safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation
  • Following well established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities
  • Safely using material handling tools and equipment
  • Traveling within and outside of the regional work area is required.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience, or experience in similar technical roles
  • 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment including VFL, power meter, and OTDR experience
  • Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers
