About the role
Senior Security Intelligence Engineer within the European Sovereign Cloud Threat Intelligence team (part of Amazon Cyber Threat Intelligence). Focus on analyzing actor TTPs, large data sets, and producing actionable threat intelligence for AWS services and customers in the EU Sovereign Cloud. Responsibilities include data source identification, analytic technique development, and publishing threat intelligence products.
Responsibilities
- Perform deep dive analysis of malicious artifacts.
- Analyze large and unstructured data sets to discover new threats, uncover trends, and identify anomalies indicative of malicious activities.
- Create security techniques and automation for internal use that enable you and others to operate at high speed and broad scale.
- Contribute to Amazon's understanding of the current threat landscape and the techniques, tactics, and procedures associated with specific threats.
- Draft and publish finished written threat intelligence products based on findings.
- Periodic on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with any combination of: application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud computing and security, AI security, threat intelligence, and penetration testing
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with research and investigation skills or equivalent
- This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state
