About the role
Marketing Associate focused on Special Projects & Events for trawa, overseeing end-to-end event planning, execution, and post-event lead management, with broader responsibilities across landing pages, paid/content promotion, and ongoing marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Own the Event calendar: select which trade shows/formats, budgets, plan the year, run numbers, and say no when necessary.
- Build the presence: booth design, graphics, tech, logistics, negotiate with event organizers and service providers, meet deadlines, and work onsite at the booth.
- Convert event days into meetings: run invitation campaigns, attendee lists, matchmaking, pre-scheduling, lead capture, follow-ups, and handoff to Sales per a clear SLA.
- Measure own impact: build landing pages, forms, HubSpot workflows, lead tagging, and reporting; report MQLs, pipeline and signings per event against plan.
- Stay engaged beyond events: newsletters, LinkedIn, PR, own formats, and even guerilla experiments (e.g., direct mail, OOH) with repeatable successful tactics.
Qualifications
- 1-4 years B2B marketing with a focus on events or trade shows, preferably with a connection to the German Mittelstand.
- Extroverted and energized by frequent interactions at the stand.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and events in parallel and escalate when needed.
- Commercial mindset to evaluate events by the resulting pipeline.
- Experience building landing pages, forms, and reporting.
- Bias to action: prefer rapid testing and measurement over lengthy planning.
- Native German, good English.
- Based in Berlin or willing to relocate, plus travel during trade show season and a driving license.
