About the role

Senior technical leadership role focused on architectural evolution of Xometry’s flagship enterprise partnership, re-architecting core services to operate natively within partner ecosystems, enabling zero-latency DFM feedback and one-click procurement within primary enterprise design environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design high-performance solutions that extend beyond a single org and establish standards for embedding Xometry-AI into external PLM environments.
  • Advance architectural framework to be extensible, scalable, and adhere to enterprise SLIs/SLOs.
  • Lead integration of production ML pipelines into the application layer with optimized model serving and real-time geometry analysis; mentor engineers on AI tools.
  • Solve data gravity and security challenges; create formal networks between partner and Xometry engineering teams for ring-fenced data governance.
  • Establish strategic direction and lead execution of core integration; ensure DFM and IQE AI engines create a defensible edge for the partnership.
  • Facilitate technical discourse across Xometry, guiding risk/reward conversations and champion cross-functional collaboration across marketplace and data science teams.
  • Define reliability and security standards for enterprise-grade deployments (partner-hosted or Xometry-hosted) and multi-tenant management.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of professional software development experience, with a history of scaling complex platforms.
  • Expert-level mastery of Python, AWS infrastructure, and modern frontend frameworks (React/NextJS) for complex enterprise apps.
  • Proven experience shaping technical direction of multiple teams and establishing engineering patterns as standards.
  • Track record of securing endorsement for 6-12 month initiatives and driving them to production deployment.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership and external partners on technical strategy and long-term tech investments.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
