About the role

Product-oriented Fullstack Engineer with a strong backend foundation and proficiency in React, responsible for designing, building, shipping, and owning end-to-end product features used by thousands of developers and hundreds of millions of end-users at RevenueCat.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, ship, and own end-to-end product features
  • Work across frontend, backend, and data boundaries with thoughtful tradeoffs
  • Own problem definition through production rollout and long-term maintenance
  • Scope and prioritize work in partnership with Product team
  • Ship meaningful user-facing features, monitor usage, and iterate
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and mentor others
  • Engage directly with customers to understand impact of work
  • Debug issues across frontend, backend, and data; drive fixes to prevent repeats
  • Participate in code reviews, bug bashes, and technical discussions
  • Utilize AI tools to accelerate work while ensuring quality

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend foundation
  • Advanced SQL skills beyond basic SELECT/UPDATE
  • Proficiency in React and frontend ownership experience
  • Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals; understanding of HTTP and browser–server interactions
  • High quality code mindset with ability to cut scope when needed while delivering value
  • Customer-obsessed mindset and ability to imagine end-user perspectives
  • Experience scoping, prioritizing, and driving rollout in partnership with Product
  • Ability to quickly familiarize with unfamiliar code and improve it
  • Comfort coding alongside AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code)
  • Bias toward shipping with iterative improvements
  • Strong communication skills in real-time and async for a remote team
  • Experience shipping user-facing features with production monitoring and iteration
  • Proven ability to write well-tested code, debug methodically, and mentor others
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: identify problems, propose improvements, and follow through
