About the role

Lead HR Business Partner to act as strategic people partner across functions as Rillet scales beyond 200 employees post-Series C; focus on org design, performance, employee relations, data-driven decision making, and leveraging AI to automate People operations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional leaders across the company on org design, headcount planning, leveling, and team structure.
  • Coach managers on feedback, performance, team dynamics, and difficult conversations.
  • Own employee relations end-to-end, including investigations, performance improvement, and separations, in coordination with counsel.
  • Run performance and compensation cycles, from calibration through communication, in partnership with People Ops.
  • Turn people data into decisions and build the playbooks that let the company scale.
  • Use AI to automate the repeatable parts of People work so your time goes to judgment, coaching, and strategy.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years as an HRBP or People Partner in high-growth environments (150–500 employee scale).
  • Deep employee relations experience and multi-state US employment fluency; international experience is a plus.
  • Experience running performance and compensation cycles.
  • Direct with leaders and able to communicate with precision, including when the answer is no.
  • Data-fluent and proficient with AI tools to automate work; strong communication skills.
