About the role
Founding Account Manager at ClaimSorted, a YC-funded InsurTech, responsible for owning the full customer relationship from onboarding to renewals and expansion in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding and delivery: build the plan, drive the timeline, and ensure a clean go-live
- Coordinate Ops, Claims, and Product to unblock issues fast and keep clients confident
- Run the account rhythm: success plans, SLAs, escalation paths, and exec updates
- Spot risk early, de-escalate issues, and earn renewals and references
- Find and close expansion opportunities (new programs, regions, lines, volume)
- Turn what works into repeatable playbooks, templates, and routines
Qualifications
- Based in or willing to relocate to London or New York City
- Work authorisation in the US or UK without need of sponsorship
- Commercially minded with the ability to map value and close expansions
- Strong relationship builder who earns trust across stakeholders and stays calm under pressure
- 2+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, sales, or insurance/InsurTech (a plus)
- Knowledge of the insurance industry or TPA operations (a plus)
