About the role

Inventory Analyst responsible for owning inventory targets and optimization for Korea, monitoring positions across distribution centers and channels, tracking KPIs, identifying imbalances, investigating stockouts and overstocks, and providing data-driven recommendations in a hybrid KOREA-based role.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and reporting on inventory positions, distribution centers, and channels, tracking KPIs and identifying imbalances before they become business risks
  • Identifying and quantifying excess, aging, and slow-moving inventory risks, and driving actions to address them
  • Investigating root causes of stockouts across markets and recommending strategies for inventory rebalancing
  • Recommending prioritization during supply constraints and supporting decision-making with clear data and analysis
  • Reconciling forecast versus actual inventory performance and using findings to improve the accuracy of future inventory planning
  • Contributing to improvements in inventory modeling frameworks, safety stock methodologies, and KPI reporting tools
  • Refining regional action frameworks for addressing excess, aging, and slow-moving inventory risks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, or Merchandise Planning
  • Experience in inventory optimization modeling in a multichannel environment
  • Strong understanding of key inventory metrics including weeks of stock, safety stock modeling, reorder points, inventory turns, and service levels
  • Advanced Excel and data modeling capability, and comfort with forecast versus actual inventory reconciliation
  • Proactive about flagging inventory imbalances and identifying root causes of stockouts or overstocks
  • Clear and organized communicator capable of presenting inventory positions and risks to drive cross-organizational decisions
  • Results-oriented approach focused on improving inventory efficiency, service levels, and planning accuracy
