About the role

We’re seeking a highly organized, hands-on Business Operations Manager to help drive operational excellence across the company. The role sits at the intersection of business operations, project management, and execution, with primary ownership of SOC 2 program management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of ad hoc operational priorities and projects as they arise.
  • Own and drive SOC2 operations and processes.
  • Partner with internal teams including People, IT, Finance, Security, and Operations to support employee and business needs.
  • Expertly project manage across teams on operational high-visibility, high-impact technical projects.
  • Drive documentation, evidence collection, process improvements, and cross-functional follow-up related to compliance and business operations.
  • Establish project plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Drive accountability across stakeholders and ensure deliverables stay on track.
  • Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies early and proactively work to resolve them.
  • Ensure projects are completed with a high degree of quality, attention to detail, and urgency.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in business operations, project management, program management, strategy, management consulting, or a related field.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a demonstrated ability to independently drive complex, cross-functional projects to completion.
  • Strong experience working with SOC 2.
  • Strong organizational skills and an exceptional attention to detail—you naturally create structure, establish priorities, and keep things moving.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a bias toward practical solutions and execution.
  • Experience in a startup, high-growth technology, fintech, or crypto environment is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience; Security+ and PMP certifications are a plus, but not required.
