About the role

Senior FDE role embedded with enterprise restaurant deployments to design integrations, troubleshoot production issues, and build repeatable deployment playbooks for Deepgram’s restaurant solutions. Ownership from discovery through go-live and optimization with direct customer impact.

Responsibilities

  • Embed with customer engineering teams as a trusted technical peer. Lead technical discovery and solutioning for prospects and customers.
  • Own the end-to-end technical implementation of Deepgram’s voice AI platform for enterprise customers — from scoping and architecture through go-live and optimization.
  • Adapt and configure Deepgram’s platform to meet each customer’s unique operational requirements — menu structures, ordering flows, POS integrations, edge cases, and everything in between.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in live deployments. Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues when necessary.
  • Codify patterns into tools, playbooks, reference architectures, and building blocks for the broader team to use for other deployments and customers.
  • Translate real-world deployment challenges into actionable requirements for Deepgram’s product and engineering teams. You are the voice of the customer inside the building.

Qualifications

  • Technical depth: excellent software engineer with experience across APIs, SDKs, webhooks, cloud infrastructure, and customer tech stacks; comfortable using AI coding tools.
  • Customer obsession: strong commitment to customers’ technical success and bulletproof deployments.
  • High slope: fast learner, adaptable, capable of handling ambiguity and solving gritty technical problems.
  • Communication and trust: ability to build credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders, calm under pressure.
