About the role

Senior Full-stack Engineer with a preference for backend development to join Omnisend's Message Delivery team, focusing on reliable delivery of email, SMS, and push notifications and collaboration across Product, Support, and Customer Success.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute significantly to product development decisions
  • Design, develop, and test features
  • Resolve technical challenges for seamless system functionality and optimal performance
  • Maintain features with effective monitoring, logging, and alerting
  • Share best practices with team members

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience (5+ years) implementing and maintaining scalable, highly available, high load systems
  • Customer centricity
  • Ideally experience with Golang or proficiency in any backend programming language with willingness to learn Golang
  • Familiarity with modern software build pipelines and tools
  • Proficiency in any database
  • Experience with real time distributed messaging tools, like NSQ, Pub/Sub
  • Working experience with any cloud provider (Google Cloud Services)
  • Experience with event based architecture
