About the role

Hands-on, on-site role overseeing lab infrastructure and end-to-end QA for NVIDIA Cumulus Ethernet systems in Israel. Responsibilities include rack-and-stack, lab provisioning, hardware/software validation, test automation, and incident/lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead QA lab operations including rack-and-stack, structured cabling, power distribution, asset tracking, and hardware/software provisioning for high-performance systems.
  • Coordinate inventory control, procurement, and supply chain functions for lab equipment and warehouse operations.
  • Provide technical support to engineering teams by addressing hardware problems, network issues, and resource planning.
  • Lead hardware and software platform validation and platform testing for high-speed Ethernet next-generation switch systems.
  • Validate Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking features on NVIDIA Spectrum switches running NVIDIA Cumulus Linux.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and implement manual and automated test suites to ensure system integrity.
  • Build and maintain automation scripts and tools for continuous lab maintenance and functional testing.
  • Lead defect lifecycle: identify, log, and collaborate with R&D for quick resolution and fix verification.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on hardware/system quality test engineering experience.
  • Experience coordinating and solving Linux-based OS, server hardware, and switch configurations.
  • Strong understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols (e.g., VLAN, STP, LAG, DHCP, LLDP, OSPF).
  • Experience with board and platform bring-up, power/cooling infrastructure (including liquid cooling), and debugging complex hardware-software interactions.
  • Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for test automation and diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with traffic generators (e.g., Ixia, Spirent), test management frameworks, and bug tracking systems.
  • Strong collaboration skills across Dev, QA, IT, Operations, and Procurement/Vendors.
