About the role

Senior role in NVIDIA's Infrastructure Specialists team focusing on deploying, managing, and validating High-Performance Storage infrastructure for AI Factory, involving planning, implementation, documentation handover, and cross-team feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Deploying, managing, and validating High-Performance Storage infrastructure in AI Factory Linux-based environments.
  • Be the domain expert with customers during planning calls through implementation.
  • Handover-related documentation and perform knowledge transfers required to support customers.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams such as opening bugs, documenting workarounds, and suggesting improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a four-year degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in providing in-depth support, deployment, and validation services; solving problems for hardware and software based storage products.
  • Expertise in systems and storage concepts and technologies including: SDS, NFS, S3, NVMeoF, Lustre, GPFS, and RMDA (RoCEv2/InfiniBand).
  • Experience with storage benchmarking tools such as FIO, IO500, IOR, HPL, NCCL tests, MLPerf storage.
  • Linux system administration, performance reporting/optimization/logging, network-routing/advanced networking (tuning and monitoring).
  • Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver resolutions for customer issues as they arise.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize/multi-task easily with limited supervision.
  • An ability to travel to customer sites within the region up to 20% of the time.
