About the role

Software Engineering Intern or Site Reliability Engineering Intern position in London for 2027, targeting penultimate/final year students in Computer Science or related technical fields in the EMEA region. Roles involve contributing to Google-scale software projects, automating tasks, and applying computer science knowledge to real-world problems. Duration 13–17 weeks, full-time, starting May/June/July 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Create and support a productive and innovative team including working with peers, managers and teams.
  • Develop scripts to automate routine tasks.
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution to effectively solve problems.
  • Apply knowledge gained in computer science courses to real world problems.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field in the EMEA region.
  • Experience working with data structures or algorithms during coursework/projects, research, internships or practical experience in school or work (e.g., open-source coding).
  • Coding experience in one of the following programming languages: Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript.
