About the role
Software Development Engineer II at Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) Workforce Optimization. Build and scale large distributed systems to optimize labor planning in fulfillment operations, providing real-time information and insights to FC operators and services for planning and staffing.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, software engineers, user experience designers and other teams
- Code and mentor junior engineers while committing code to the program
- Involved in scoping, design, implementation, testing & delivery of the product
Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
