About the role

WHS Manager role leading Amazon’s Global WHS Program implementation, focusing on safety leadership, risk assessment, data analysis, and strategic partnership with Operations to drive safety excellence across multiple sites. Requires travel 50-70% and ability to manage safety programs, audits, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our Global WHS Program implementation and act as site safety champion.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, analyze safety data, and implement practical solutions.
  • Lead safety compliance efforts, site audits, and analyze incident trends to target improvements.
  • Manage first aid program and emergency response capabilities.
  • Drive safety initiatives with Operations leadership and influence safety culture.
  • Develop leadership plans, communicate expectations, and drive safety initiatives across sites.
  • Oversee recordkeeping, WHS training programs, and workplace safety metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience
