About the role

Amazon’s Corporate Development Integration team helps acquired companies transition into Amazon and supports financial integration across CFO, Corporate Development, and Legal organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with subsidiary CFOs in leading overall financial integration.
  • Managing workflows across Business Finance, FP&A, and Accounting teams for financial data structure setup, headcount management, corporate allocations, and forecasting deal-driven expenses such as intangibles.
  • Enabling full financial forecasting for acquiring business units after deal close.
  • Helping acquired companies implement Amazon’s Spending & Transaction Policy.
  • Driving decision making and integration planning on legal entity choices for customer and vendor financial transactions.
  • Tracking and reporting performance metrics related to original acquisition rationale.
  • Identifying and taking action on opportunities to support our partners across Amazon’s CFO organization to more effectively execute functional integration processes.
  • Providing continued and consistent support to subsidiary Finance teams as their needs and circumstances change.]

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 5+ years of complex cross-functional change management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience writing strategy documents for executive audiences with clear recommendations in the midst of ambiguity
