About the role

Amazon is seeking a Reverse Logistics Coordinator to support the non-inventory movement of new/used technology returns to Global RAD Operation sites worldwide. The role focuses on resolving issues, communicating with stakeholders, and driving customer experience in reverse logistics workflows across multiple teams and external providers.

Responsibilities

  • Continual, tactical communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (FBA, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers, IT Field Team).
  • Create narratives outlining findings on tickets/requests for shipment inquiries and update customers at each step.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.
  • Lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes and eliminate root causes of defects to improve efficiency in Amazon’s transportation operations.
  • Escalate problems or data variances to relevant owners and follow through on resolutions.
  • Pull data from databases (Excel, Access, SQL or other systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Develop performance metrics to drive business results.
  • Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon tech teams creating/enhancing software/tools.
  • Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly metrics and dashboards as requested.
  • Understand business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
