About the role

Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager responsible for partnering with site operations to implement WHS policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead continuous improvement to reduce safety risks. Builds and mentors a safety team, conducts risk assessments and data analysis, and drives safety initiatives across the designated site.

Responsibilities

  • Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations, or relevant experience
  • 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management
  • Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, as required to support direct reports and site needs
