About the role

Senior MCAD Tools Applications Engineer supporting MCAD tools and databases for electrical engineering design, layout, and simulation engineers within the Amazon Leo (Project Kuiper) satellite constellation program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a stable, reliable set of MCAD tools and database management for electrical engineering design, layout, and simulation engineers
  • Anticipate tool needs, develop custom features and functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Provide technical support
  • Develop processes to enable rapid development of a leading-edge LEO satellite constellation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years experience in CAD software customization, with a strong focus on Siemens NX
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, and Python and other .NET languages
  • Strong understanding of 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and PLM concepts
  • Experience integrating CAD systems with other enterprise software (e.g., PLM, ERP, simulation tools)
