About the role

Manufacturing Engineer role focused on scaling up production of mechanical and thermal products for AWS servers and server racks. Owns PFMEAs, control plans, and process flows; leads manufacturing launches, quality control across CM/ODM/vendors, and provides hands-on technical support during new product introductions with significant global travel.

Responsibilities

  • Scale up manufacturing on new mechanical and thermal products across a global network.
  • Lead and oversee quality control processes across Contract Manufacturers (CM), Original Design Manufacturers (ODM), and component vendors
  • Deliver hands-on technical support during new product introductions and launches
  • Investigate and resolve customer escalations through comprehensive root cause analysis
  • Support global operations through regular domestic and international travel (50-75% of time)
  • Develop and implement manufacturing test fixtures at the Server and Rack level.
  • Drive Lessons Learned and Process Standardization between sites.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar related field or equivalent experience
