About the role

Senior ProServe Cloud Architect (PCA) within AWS ProServe focused on DoD ProServe engagements. Designs and leads complex AWS-based solutions that achieve customer business outcomes (CBOs), guides pre-sales activities, mentors teams, and serves as a technical SME with DoD/national security experience.

Responsibilities

  • Designing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs)
  • Providing technical guidance and best practices during pre-sales and implementation phases
  • Collaborating with Account Managers and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
  • 5+ years of database (eg. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience
  • 7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience
  • 3+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience
  • 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
  • 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience
  • Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance
