About the role

Senior Software Development Engineer focused on architecting AI-driven integrations between AWS and strategic partners (e.g., SAP), leveraging Agentic AI and large language models to enable scalable, secure, enterprise-grade solutions. Travel up to 50% for co-development with partners.

Responsibilities

  • Define technical direction for the team and own architectural decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Design and deliver mission-critical integrations between partners (like SAP) and AWS-native services across Agentic AI, LLM workflows, distributed systems, security, databases, and emerging AWS services
  • Architect AI-augmented SDLC patterns and collaborate with AI agents to prototype and validate solutions
  • Own full-stack delivery from design through production with focus on availability and performance
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with Product, Security, and AI Research teams
  • Represent the team to partner service teams and leadership; participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and operations
  • Identify partner pain points and drive architectural decisions balancing scalability, security, and AI innovation
  • Prototype solutions with AI agents, validate via load testing, and drive cross-team alignment with partner teams
  • Occasional travel to work with partners and perform co-development engineering

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques
