About the role

Role focused on owning outcomes and embedding with public sector sales leaders to shape engineering work, drive end-to-end delivery, and accelerate AI-powered solutions for governments, healthcare, education, and mission-critical agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate vertical directions and shape strategy, involving engineering early including AI as a critical path
  • Own the framework to decide which opportunities receive engineering investment when demand exceeds capacity
  • Set and apply the bar for engagements (scalability, reusability, multi-customer applicability, force-multiplier potential) and make hard calls on those that don’t clear it
  • Work with engineers through build; make architecture, scoping, and tradeoff decisions; own the technical outcome
  • Drive co-build execution hands-on with AWS Service Teams and Partners; apply AI to accelerate delivery and create reusable patterns
  • Own delivery end-to-end from qualification through transfer, resolving technical and cross-team ambiguity without escalation
  • Keep leadership informed on investments, outcomes, and realized impact
  • Influence peers and partner teams; mentor less-experienced engineers and program managers

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 6+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
  • Experience owning program strategy, managing end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
