About the role

Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician responsible for leading shift activities, monitoring equipment performance, implementing process improvements, and mentoring technicians across Brazil network within Amazon’s IntlRME team.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure everyone follows the correct processes
  • Keep track of equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks and schedule additional servicing when required
  • Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers
  • Solve issues in equipment to reduce downtime for operations so they can process packages as quickly as possible
  • Support in finding ways to continually improve systems and standardize processes across the Brazil network
  • Lead a team each shift to ensure equipment is available and running properly, monitor processes to ensure regulations and policies are followed, and ensure preventive maintenance is carried out to increase uptime
  • Suggest and implement improvements across an BR-wide function based on observations, and monitor processes with tools like Scada
  • Assist line manager with administrative tasks within the role

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Experience working with CMMS software
  • Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, preventative maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programs, National Electrical Code (NEC), work order management
  • Work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
