About the role

Senior Product Manager focusing on External Services for Amazon Aurora, driving seamless user experiences, defining product requirements, and leading cross-functional efforts to bring workloads to Aurora with a cloud-native, scalable approach.

Responsibilities

  • Define seamless user experiences across Aurora (getting started, query execution, and new capabilities leveraging generative AI)
  • Define product requirements and champion customer needs
  • Prioritize roadmap features with customers, partners, software vendors, and operational stakeholders
  • Spearhead the definition of new capabilities through well-crafted business requirements documents
  • Solve challenging technical problems across the stack
  • Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain software solutions to improve performance, durability, cost, and security
  • Build high-quality, highly available, always-on products
  • Research implementations to deliver optimal customer experiences
  • Create metrics, implement automation and resolve root causes of defects
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and stakeholder communications
  • Work cross-functionally to drive business decisions with technical input
  • Operate in a startup-like development environment with focus on high-priority work

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • 4+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, or related) experience
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products with full lifecycle ownership (concept through GTM)
