About the role

Product Marketing Director responsible for product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy to drive pipeline and adoption for Qevlar AI’s cybersecurity platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own positioning and messaging for Qevlar in ways that resonate with customers and skeptical security buyers
  • Build fluency in underlying technology (agentic investigation, autonomous triage, AI limitations) to credibly engage technical buyers
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to translate what they're building into customer-facing narratives and feed customer/competitive feedback into roadmap conversations
  • Lead go-to-market for new feature and product launches, coordinating with Sales and Customer Success
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and sales enablement materials (battlecards, objection handling)
  • Own analyst relations, including briefings and relationship management with Gartner and Forrester
  • Support the customer lifecycle beyond launch (demos, onboarding content, renewal and retention messaging, case studies)

Qualifications

  • Product marketing experience in cybersecurity, ideally in SOC/SIEM or security automation
  • Experience building positioning and messaging from the ground up at a previous company
  • Enough technical understanding of AI (agentic systems, reasoning models, and practical limitations) to engage credibly with engineers and technical buyers
  • Track record of leading product launches end to end
  • Results-oriented approach focused on pipeline, win rate, and retention
  • Comfort as a hands-on individual contributor with ability to build/lead a team as the role grows
  • Strong writing and communication skills for both technical and executive audiences
