About the role

Technical Solutions Engineer within the GTM org in UK&I, acting as trusted advisor to sales, partners, and customers to guide Generative AI journeys and connect Glean to key decision-making platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Performing interactive demonstrations of the Glean platform to prospective customers.
  • Educating the technical teams of prospective customers on the architecture of the Glean platform, explaining how the solution works in the customer landscape.
  • Scoping and executing sponsored pilot and Proof of Value (PoV) exercises to validate technical requirements and business objectives.
  • Educating and training customers and partners on the product to ensure they are set up for success.
  • Presenting at company-sponsored events such as Google Cloud Next and AWS re:Invent.
  • Liaising with product managers and engineers to investigate issues, raise feature requests, and understand future roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • At least 5+ years of experience in enterprise software pre-sales and experience with value-based discovery frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in layman's terms to educate/train customers, prospects, and partners.
  • Comfortable presenting virtually and in person.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (IaaS) platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Familiarity with identity services and SSO providers (Azure/Entra ID, Okta) and protocols (SAML, SCIM, OIDC).
  • Familiarity with APIs, including sending/receiving data from API endpoints and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with security concepts and tools (Firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS, DLP, WAFs, proxies).
