  • Assess electrical panel safety on arrival and coordinate with the customer's electrician when needed.
  • Install, wire, and configure monitoring hardware to Guidewheel standards and scope of work.
  • Establish and validate site connectivity, and confirm data is flowing to the platform before close-out.
  • Capture machine information: nameplate data, asset IDs, and photographs for every machine.
  • Guide customer teams through remote installations, giving clear direction and verifying quality at each step.
  • Submit installation report within 24 hours of closing out a site, covering sensor count, anomalies, and deviations from scope.
  • Hand a written punch list to the TAM before leaving the site.
  • Log time on site for future planning.
  • Assemble and stage hardware kits; perform firmware updates, labeling, and quality checks.
  • Run inventory audits and reconcile physical counts against system records.

  • Return to site for replacement hardware, multi-phase installations, and scope additions.
  • Improve the implementation playbook and site-readiness checklists.

Qualifications

  • Trades experience in electrical, industrial installation, controls, or related skilled trade with comfort around three-phase panels.

  • Tool fluency with multimeter, clamp meter, drill, torque tools, and label printer.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.

  • Comfort with software: creating machines, mapping sensors, updating installation status, and coordinating via collaboration tools.
  • Customer-facing communication skills as the technical face of Guidewheel on site and remote calls; daily status updates to TAM.
