About the role

CompassX is hiring a Technical Architect for an enterprise, AI-driven initiative to connect Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) with a broader integration and applications ecosystem. The role focuses on architecture and hands-on development across multiple EBS instances, APIs, and data-services, with early-stage project shaping.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build a common data-services layer that connects multiple, differently configured Oracle EBS instances across regions
  • Expose EBS data through integrations and APIs to other systems, focusing on Manufacturing, Inventory, and Item Master data
  • Work hands-on with PL/SQL, EBS Open Interfaces, and standard APIs (build role, not a configuration role)
  • Partner directly with other developers and technical stakeholders as a peer (lead on SQL and architecture questions)
  • Bring an architect's perspective across distinct systems to design solutions that hold up across environments
  • Act as a trusted technical voice in an evolving initiative, helping define how work is scoped and delivered

Qualifications

  • Strong experience as a true consultant to stakeholders and clients
  • Deep, hands-on Oracle EBS technical development experience (PL/SQL, EBS Open Interfaces, standard APIs, concurrent program load mechanisms)
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and/or SOA, plus REST/SOAP web services
  • Working knowledge of EBS data models for Manufacturing/BOM, Inventory, and Item Master (Item/PTM table experience valued)
  • Experience working across multiple EBS instances with reconciled environments
  • Technical/integration mindset over a purely functional/configuration approach
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity in early-stage initiatives and helping shape approaches
  • Bonus: familiarity with Oracle PD Cloud (Oracle PLM)
