About the role

Creative Designer to join Octopus Energy Italia marketing team. Responsible for product/UI design, content creation, multi-channel campaigns, and evolving the website and personal area, with direct impact on how over a million customers experience Octopus.

Responsibilities

  • Product & UI Design: translate product requirements into flows, wireframes and interfaces in Figma, covering states, responsive design and edge cases.
  • Content Creation & Motion Graphics: create graphic assets, animations and small video/motion content for digital campaigns and social channels.
  • Campaigns Multi-channel: produce and adapt creatives for digital (Meta, Google) and offline (print, OOH) across required formats using main design tools.
  • Media Execution: manage format declarations, upload to portals and meet deadlines.
  • Digital Evolution: maintain and evolve the website and the personal area.
  • Cross-functional Support: assist with graphic and brand requests for the team (flyers, gadgets, office/event materials).

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a design role, preferably in agency or startup environments.
  • Excellent proficiency with Figma for UI/UX, along with strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Motion Design skills: good knowledge of After Effects (or similar) for animated graphics, micro-interactions and video formats.
  • Experience producing formats for digital and offline campaigns.
  • Ability to work across multiple fronts and meet deadlines.
  • User-centric design sensibility and ability to translate user needs into effective design.
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to work onsite with the team.
  • Good autonomy to drive tasks without detailed instructions.
  • Sensitivity to copy: clear microtexts, CTAs, labels and error messages in everyday language.
  • Experience in sectors with strong customer experience components (utilities, fintech, telco).
