About the role

Field-based venue sales role promoting Octopus Energy tariffs and low carbon technologies through face-to-face interactions at various venues in Brighton and Kent.

Responsibilities

  • Directly engage with customers on a face-to-face basis to promote energy tariffs and low carbon technologies (e.g., solar panels, heat pumps, electric vehicles).
  • Introduce Octopus Energy to local communities as a preferred supplier by comparing services with other energy companies to help customers decide on switching.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming and positive experience for every new customer.
  • Travel to different venues across locations as part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Sales experience preferred but not required, with training provided
  • Confident in own communication style, good listeners, and genuinely interested in connecting with others
  • Positive, approachable and confident communication style
  • Experience in a customer-centric setting with quick and effective customer solutions
  • Willingness to approach customers and maximise interactions
  • Enjoy helping customers and delivering joy through easy processes
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in responsibilities
  • Honest, focused, and committed to representing the brand
  • Driving license required to travel to venues across locations
