About the role

Octopus Energy has opportunities to join the field sales team as a Venue Sales Representative in Leeds, UK. You’ll meet lots of people, build genuine connections and help customers make choices that are right for them, promoting energy tariffs and low carbon technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Directly engage with customers on a face to face basis, to promote our energy tariffs and low carbon technologies, such as solar panels, heat pumps and electric vehicles.
  • Help introduce local communities to Octopus Energy as a preferred potential supplier by comparing service and products with other energy companies to help customers decide whether switching is beneficial.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming and positive experience for every new customer you bring on board.

Qualifications

  • Sales experience is preferred but not required; candidate should be confident in talking to people, building relationships and helping customers
  • Excellent communication skills: positive, approachable and confident
  • Experience in a customer-centric setting with quick and effective customer solutions
  • Willingness to approach customers and maximize every interaction
  • Enjoy bringing customers joy by making processes easy
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Honest, focused, and committed to representing the brand well
  • Driving license required to travel to venues across locations
