About the role

bunch is building the backbone of private markets, enabling next-gen fund operations with a unified system for secure data infrastructure, AI-powered workflows, and fund services. This role focuses on designing robust, scalable backend services with ownership and impact, contributing to product roadmap and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend services that solve real customer problems
  • Collaborate with Product Managers by actively participating in problem discovery and solution creation leveraging technical expertise
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of new features and improvements
  • Maximize team output by addressing technical debt and improving collaboration and communication

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience building backend systems in fast-paced environments
  • Proficient in backend development with TypeScript or any strongly typed language, SQL databases
  • Nest.js or similar web/dependency management frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot)
  • Strong understanding of system design principles, scalability, and performance tuning
  • Experience working with fintech, highly regulated industries, or document processing is a plus
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong problem-solving skills
