About the role
Experienced attorney to lead and oversee Epic's litigation strategy and portfolio at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and global regulatory landscape. Direct collaboration with Epic executives to set strategy, advise on major matters, manage a diverse litigation portfolio, and coordinate with outside counsel while staying involved in substance and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee litigation strategy and portfolio.
- Set litigation strategy in collaboration with executives and business leaders.
- Advise on important matters impacting business, customers, and healthcare industry.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of litigation and partner with leading outside counsel.
- Remain closely involved in the substance and strategy of matters.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) with regulatory, antitrust, or privacy litigation experience
- Significant experience litigating large, complex cases with substantial discovery needs
- High ownership mindset and willingness to engage in day-to-day matters as well as big-picture strategy
- Creative thinking with ability to identify issues and propose/execute solutions
- Relocation to Madison, WI area (fully reimbursed)
- COVID-19 vaccination
