About the role

Senior-level UX design role focused on leading design for studio content publishing workflows, with emphasis on creating intuitive tools for creators and advancing Google’s design language across publishing flows.

Responsibilities

  • Modernize core upload and publish flows, smart drafts, and comprehensive metadata editing to reduce anxiety and friction in publishing; design intuitive interfaces for creators to publish content.
  • Craft intelligent AI-powered tools and optimizations for titles, thumbnails, tags, and metadata to maximize reach and engagement; translate machine learning models into accessible insights for creators.
  • Empower storytelling through capabilities like title and thumbnail A/B testing and seamless integrations with advanced video editing platforms; streamline creator workflows from creation to post-production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product design or User Experience (UX).
  • Experience designing creator tools, video editing workflows, CMS, or media publishing platforms.
  • Experience leading and mentoring cross-functional UX designers and managing multi-year product design goals.
  • Portfolio or related work link included in resume.
