About the role

Google Pay Ads software engineer role focused on Android/iOS experiences, ads integration, and data/ML pipelines within Google’s Commerce ecosystem.

Work extensively in a Flutter (Dart) codebase delivering Android and iOS experiences to GPay users.
Understand Ad and voucher serving system (Java/C++), recommend, and implement improvements to external systems.
Understand ads logging and ML pipelines and how to optimize them for our publisher.
Use AI development tools to automate and accelerate your individual work as well as the team's operations.
Partner with UX and Product Management (PM) leads to build new user-facing experiences.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
1 year of experience building data infrastructure and solutions (e.g., designing architecture, building data pipelines, implementing scalable monitoring, build advanced visualizations).
