About the role

Internship in Operations Engineering at Amazon EU Sarl with start date in Q2 2027. Provides real responsibility from day one across teams such as Project Management, Change Management, People Management, Planning, Contracting Management, Infrastructure, Reliability Maintenance Engineering and more. Six-month internship with potential for graduate role or second internship, relocation support, and competitive salary.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, improve, and innovate order fulfilment infrastructure throughout the large-scale supply chain network.
  • Manage, design, and implement small to medium scope integrated automation projects with system elements such as high-speed sortation, multiple conveyors, package lines, and/or robotic work cells.
  • Develop alongside global teams to support the planning, installation and commission of new equipment, including project managing implementation of new processes.
  • Support within the EU Controls network on a project to enhance the capability to monitor MHE metrics and provide visualization and data to internal customers.
  • Working on a program to train technicians in the basics of control systems fault finding to raise the level of knowledge within the site.

Qualifications

  • Currently in your final or penultimate year and working towards a university bachelors’ or masters’ degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Automation, Industrial or Software), or a STEM subject.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above
  • Available for a full-time internship (40 hours/week) with a Q2 start date and 6 month length
