About the role

Founding Brand & Product Designer responsible for defining UniversalAGI’s visual identity, product feel, and customer-facing materials across decks, product surfaces, and marketing collateral.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design of every presentation and deck for customer-facing materials, investor conversations, marketing, and other moments that matter.
  • Turn fast-moving and technical content into clear, credible, and visually sharp designs.
  • Build and maintain a flexible design system to ensure decks stay consistent, on brand, and fast to produce as needs arise.
  • Contribute to product design on live product surfaces, partnering with the technical team, founding team, and GTM, especially where product work overlaps with customer-facing materials.
  • Execute brand and marketing collateral (social, one-pagers, internal communications, and more) using and extending the existing design system.
  • Help define and evolve the visual identity and brand direction as the company scales.

Qualifications

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, or willing to relocate; this is an in-person, onsite role.
  • Professional design experience spanning presentation/deck design, product design, and brand or visual identity work.
  • Portfolio that leads with excellent presentation and deck design: persuasive work.
  • Demonstrated brand or identity design experience: capable of shaping or evolving a brand system.
  • Working product design skills with ability to help shape a 0-to-1 and 1-to-n product, including making dense technical output clear and usable.
  • High craft bar with meticulous attention to typography, layout, and visual polish under deadlines.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and speed; often the only designer in the room.
