Security Operations Engineer
About the role
Security Operations Engineer responsible for security operations, GRC, and incident response within AssemblyAI’s IT & Security team. Focus on SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI 4.0 compliance, evidence gathering, control design, automation, vendor risk, customer security questionnaires, vulnerability triage, and incident response. Remote US-based role with high ownership on a small team.
Responsibilities
- Drive SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI 4.0, and other compliance audit cycles: gather and organize evidence, document, design, and build controls, coordinate directly with auditors through fieldwork, and collaborate with internal teams on remediation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in security operations, GRC, IT security, or a related role
